In the recent years, “Mindfulness” has become a household term and has become recognized as an essential tool in helping to develop attention, emotional and cognitive understanding, bodily awareness and coordination, and interpersonal awareness and skills.
What makes mindfulness the best trend is that it enhances our overall wellbeing, peace, happiness, and confidence in ourselves and the world around us, by calming our stress response and anxiety.
Mindfulness helps us to focus on the present moment, not worrying about the past or what is to come in the future. By really being “in the moment” our quality of life improves as we can truly appreciate the gifts that life brings forward.
Intro To Meditation/Mindfulness Classes for Adults.
In this 2.5 hr class, we will explore the Why? How? Who’s and When’s of meditation, The science of stress and how it impacts our body, the benefits of mediation as a remedy for stress and how to build resiliency to stress, as well as the practice of mediation itself and how to live a more mindful, happy life.
Includes: 2.5 hours of comprehensive meditation practice, education and tools for your own practice and an information package to take home that guides you through everything we learned.

Introduction To Meditation/Mindfulness for kids
Mindful awareness for kids is a critical development skill and a powerful tool to help children develop the skills to promote peace within themselves and the world around them. If children are able to practice mindfulness at school and in their community, this peaceful, calm, positive energy will become pervasive. They will develop a feeling of interconnectedness among their peers, other people, and with the natural environment. The confidence and sense of well-being that children develop from mindfulness practice helps them to develop their own unique talents, compassion, problem solving skills, gratitude, and resiliency. Mindfulness can be taught to kids at any age by role-modelling it at home and by teaching age appropriate skills for practice.
In my programs, we will learn the basic science of the brain in a way that the age group can cognitively understand, learn breathing techniques, play games, dance, do crafts, story telling, and guided meditations to learn mindfulness skills and development skills for emotional self regulation, gratitude, resiliency, responsibility, compassion, and the confidence in knowing that they are here for a reason and that everything is possible.
