About

SHAKTI IS A HINDU WORD THAT REPRESENTS THE DIVINE FEMININE POWER THAT FLOWS WITHIN ALL THINGS. IT IS SAID TO BE THE DYNAMIC FORCE RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATION AND CHANGE THAT MOVES THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE.

SHAKTI IS EMPOWERMENT. SHAKTI IS LIBERATION.

Through the years, my ideas have evolved and taken on a life of their own,. However, one thing that has always stayed the same is my deep rooted desire to inspire, teach, and help others on their path to self and with that, guide them to live a life of health, kindness, and happiness.

Shakti Health began in 2012, as I started shifting gears into personal training from massage, while taking on all my other many passions. Working full time at the clinic and training in my “free time’, was SO great at first, but soon I was was feeling burnt out and spread too thin. My desire to help was exhausting me and my body was feeling the repercussions. I needed to find a way to ground myself and rebalance. I put my hands on my heart and trusted myself on my next journey.

I decided to move my work into my home and slow down, so I could bring my focus back to massage and the work that fills me the most. I had been glamorizing busy for too long.  Now instead of looking at my life as “have to’s” I am able to feel gratitude in every moment, and appreciate how I get to fuel my family as I can take time to prep great meals and give them my support, love, and time. I feel blessed to be able to treat all my incredible clients with massage, enjoy every precious conversation and quiet moment in and out of the treatment room, and to do what I came here to do, be love and give love!

Through my work as a a Registered Massage Therapist, Personal Fitness Specialist, Certified Meditation Teacher, and Holistic Nutrition Enthusiast, my wish is to help women, men, and their families to build resiliency to stress and optimize their health by sharing my touch, and my knowledge in an interactive, fun, and educational way.
